Glee Team (4th-8th grade)
(Thursdays 5:00-6:30 PM)
While most young people enjoy our program because of the performing opportunities and social experience, we believe it is our job to offer a superior music education that includes sight singing, harmony, and ear training. Encouraging teachers and additional time help students learn how to be true performers and build confidence as a performer and musicians. Book your first class today. Worried that your student might not like it? We are so sure that you will love our Glee choir programs that we’ll give you your money back if your first day at Glee class isn’t everything you hoped for. So that means that you can register for a class without worries. If Glee isn’t everything you want it to be, just let us know in writing the same day as your class.
“My daughter Anabel was so lucky to start with Glee Music Academy. She is teaching her how to use her voice without harming it. My daughter has been taking vocal lessons for two years with another teacher and she hasn’t had any major results like she had in a few months. Thank you Glee Music Academy!”
“The thing I like most about Glee is the positive atmosphere. I have older children in dance and sometimes the atmosphere is so competitive between the kids. It is so nice to be involved in a program that teaches and promotes the kids to support one another. Huge thumbs up from our family!”
“GOOD NEWS! I was accepted to both Musical Theatre and Acting conservatories at OCSA! I want to thank you for all of your help, support, kindness and time. I truly couldn’t have done it without all your hard work. THANK YOU SO MUCH!”
“The teacher could tell my teen was creative and wrote songs so her assignment this week was to write a song on her ukulele. I couldn’t be more thrilled.”
“I can’t thank you enough for your help with my granddaughter’s audition. It’s just what she needed, and she came back full of enthusiasm and confidence. You went above and beyond. She couldn’t have had a better professional coach.”
Frequently Asked QuestionsGet Started
What should my students wear to class?
Please wear comfortable clothes for dancing and closed-toed shoes.
What are the costume costs for the two big shows?
Costumes are NOT included in tuition. You will be expected to buy a glee t-shirt in addition to your costume. (Female student costume prices range from $115-185 depending on size and male students range from $69-$99 depending on size.) Boys and girls also will be expected to have designated black shoes. We plan to keep the costume the same year to year, so as long as your costume fits you won’t need to buy another suit or dress.
How do you feel about snacks?
We take pride in our beautiful studio so we ask that you finish your drinks and snacks outside before entering Glee, including the lobby. Even though some parents might feel that a covered drink isn’t a problem, we have cleaned up coffee, tea and sticky soda off floor and sound cables too many times. We ask that you only bring a covered water bottle into Glee Music Academy.
