We Plan Recitals to Put Your Skills in Action

We have frequent music recitals in a beautiful music studio that is free for family and friends to attend. Some new families think recitals aren’t that important, but we find that students do better with a deadline and performance training. What is the point of learning an instrument if you can’t look confident when you perform?

While we uphold high standards for practice and technique, our main goal is to ensure every lesson is uplifting and encouraging.

We do Background Checks

We do extensive interviews, FBI background checks and finger-printing on all Glee private music teachers, which means you can rest easy knowing we have a safe, encouraging learning environment. Every Glee music classroom at our music studio has a window and a parent bench so you can watch the entire private lesson without disturbing the learning. All music teacher home studios allow the parent to watch and/or listen to the entire lesson.

We Offer Special Achievement Programs

Certificate of Merit® (CM)

Certificate of Merit is a national music testing program available only to teachers that belong to the Music Teacher Association (MTAC). MTAC calls it a balanced curriculum of music study. At Glee we have Certificate of Merit available for piano students with select teachers. This is a great way to pad your college resume, but you can’t do it last minute. That is the very reason it is so highly respected! Level 1-10 requires you to play multiple pieces for a judge and pass a written theory test. Royal Conservatory Testing

The Royal Conservatory Testing is a comprehensive music education program that provides students with an internationally recognized standard of musical achievement. It involves a series of graded examinations that assess a wide range of musical skills, from performance to theory.

At Glee Music Academy, we are proud to offer Royal Conservatory Testing with select teachers who are specially trained in this prestigious program. Participating in these assessments provides our students with the opportunity to showcase their talents, track their progress, and receive official recognition for their hard work and dedication. Whether you are just starting out or looking to master your instrument, our teachers are here to guide you every step of the way and help you reach your musical goals.
