Registration + Scheduling
Consistency over time is necessary for progress. Therefore, all lessons are weekly and ongoing.
After arranging a designated timeslot with the Studio Administrator, this slot will be reserved for you each week until you give 2 weeks’ notice to end your lessons, or arrange to permanently change your timeslot.
Student Portal
After enrollment is confirmed with the Studio Administrator, each parent and student (if over 18) will have access to our Student Portal. Everything for lessons is tracked here: upcoming schedule, attendance record, invoices, etc.
Fees and Billing
30 minute lesson = $45
45 minute lesson = $67.50
60 minute lesson = $90
Lessons are billed monthly and in arrears. Invoices are emailed on the 1st of each month, and include all lessons from the previous month (typically $180-$225). You can pay through the URL in your invoice, or in-person at Foxes’ front counter. You may check the Student Portal anytime to see upcoming charges or make an advance payment. Students who sign up for Autopay will receive an emailed receipt on the 1st of each month.
Cancellation Policy
A Student cancellation is considered excused only if it is communicated to Foxes or noted in the online portal at least 24 hours’ in advance. Students are allowed four (4) makeup lessons each calendar year for excused cancellations. Some teachers may opt to waive the lesson fee in lieu of a makeup. Any cancellations beyond four per year are billable and considered forfeited. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) and absences without notice are not excused and billable. Excused absence count will restart on January 1st each year. Student cancellations may be noted via phone, email or the online portal.
Teacher cancellations are eligible for makeup or account credit, at the teacher’s discretion. All efforts will be made to arrange makeups in a timely manner.
Holidays and Inclement Weather
Please note that Foxes does not follow local school calendars. Lessons cancelled due to inclement weather are eligible for makeup or account credit, at the teacher’s discretion.
We observe the following holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, and Independence Day. Lessons are not held or billed on those days.
Makeup Lessons
Makeups are scheduled at times convenient to both the student and teacher. To arrange a makeup, please contact the studio administrator. A makeup may be scheduled as an extra lesson, or as an extension to a regular lesson. Scheduled makeups that are cancelled are considered forfeited.
Code of Conduct
Students and teachers are expected to arrive on time and prepared for each week’s lesson. School-appropriate clothing is required. Students are expected to bring their own instruments and materials, but loaners are available when necessary. Respectful treatment of other and of the studio space is always required. Any concerns should be communicated to the Studio Administrator.
