
About Khahari Cook
Khahari is a classically trained vocalist and pianist from the south suburbs of Chicagoland, and is now based in Chicago, Illinois.
Earning her undergraduate degree in Music Performance from North Central College, she has been involved in a number of vocal jazz and classical performances with opera roles such as Papageno, “Die Zauberflöte,” Thomas Bouché, “Down in the Valley,” and Don Alfonso, “Cosí fan tutte.” She has sung and apprenticed with professional choirs and orchestras such as The Lakeside Singers, Constellation Men’s Ensemble, Chicago Philharmonic and the Dupage Symphony Orchestra.
Whether it’s for piano or voice, Khahari likes to run a very movement and motion based class centered on patience and autonomy. She likes to cater classes around, ear training, theory, and the students’ musical interests to encourage growth and continued interest in music.
