About Kris Shepardson
With over 40 years of experience as a pianist, Kristine brings both passion and expertise to her role as a piano teacher at Ellsworth Music. She teaches students of all ages, focusing not only on building strong foundational skills but also on inspiring a lifelong love for music.
Kristine is a lifelong musician who currently plays piano and sings in her local church, and has performed in various bands over the years. She is also skilled in guitar and clarinet—earning first chair honors throughout school and performing with the Town Band in New Hampshire for multiple summer seasons. She has competed at numerous events and written several original songs that have been performed by others.
Kristine holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from American Public University in Charles Town, WV, where she graduated with honors as a member of Alpha Lambda Delta. In addition to her music background, she is certified in CPR/AED and teaches English as a Second Language (ESL), working with Hispanic individuals to help them build communication skills.
Fun fact: Kristine is a proud grandmother of five amazing grandchildren who are the absolute joy of her life.
