About Bridget Ellsworth
Bridget Ellsworth, a Shepherdstown native, is an accomplished musician, teacher, and children’s performer. A graduate of The Duke Ellington School of the Arts and SUNY Purchase, Bridget has years of experience with learning and sharing music. Bridget recently moved back to WV after spending 14 years teaching in NYC. As an educator she knows how important it is to create a space that is supportive and enriching, while keeping the student engaged and creative.
Bridget teaches a wide range of instruments including piano, percussion, string and electric bass, guitar, violin, and ukulele. But, the list will contribute to grow as she is always eager to learn new things. This vibrant and effervescent teacher is truly the shining star of Ellsworth Music. In fact, there will be a bronze monument erected in front of the store this spring. Only a small offering to this savior of music lessons.
