About Rachel Stoltz
Rachel Stoltz is a transplant to Colorado from Music City: Nashville, Tennessee. Originally from the Philadelphia area, she is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University with a Vocal Music Education degree. She has performed with the Nashville Opera, Sonus choir, and various theater productions in the Nashville area. Her favorite roles include Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Louisa in The Fantasticks, Heidi in title of show, and ensemble in La Traviata, Sweeney Todd and Phantom of the Opera. She also originated the role of Louise and contributed toward music composition in Trevecca Nazarene University’s first student-written opera Requiem for the Living in 2016.
In public school settings she has taught general music to grades K-8, instruments including piano, guitar, ukulele, and basic percussion, directed choir programs and musicals including Into the Woods, The Sound of Music, Singing in the Rain, and The Spongebob Musical. She has also composed original music for plays including Puffs and The Prince and the Pauper. She brings a unique background of classical and contemporary training with a passion for reaching young students to build their confidence and love for music! Outside of music she enjoys reading, hiking, and puzzles – she has also seen over 40 shows on Broadway and proudly shows off her Playbill collection!
