About Lucas Barath
Lucas Barath is a caring and patient music educator who loves helping young children discover their voices and build confidence through music. He has been teaching music lessons to students of all ages since 2022 and has worked in K–12 classrooms, giving him strong experience guiding young learners with clear structure, positive encouragement, and age-appropriate goals. Parents appreciate his calm, supportive approach, and kids love his engaging lessons that make learning feel fun and not like work.
Lucas holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Butler University. In addition to voice instruction, he also teaches beginner piano and beginner ukulele, making him a great fit for young students who are just starting their musical journey. Alongside his teaching, he has performed in opera, musical theatre, a cappella, and barbershop, including lead roles in Albert Herring, The Magic Flute, and Gianni Schicchi. His broad musical background helps him adapt lessons to each child’s interests and learning style while focusing on healthy technique, listening skills, and a lifelong love of music.
