About Jessica Brozek

Jessica graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida with a degree in music (vocal performance) and a minor in communication studies. Originally from upstate New York, Jessica started singing as soon as she could talk, and she started taking private lessons when she was about nine years old. She fell in love with musical theater in high school, and her love of Disney led her to a college in Florida where she developed her classical and musical theatre skills.

A few of Jessica’s notable roles include Edith in The Pirates of Penzance, Cinderella in Some Enchanted Evening: The Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein, and Andrina in The Little Mermaid. Jessica was also a member of Rollins Choir and she served as soprano section leader for the Women’s Vocal Jazz ensemble.

In addition to teaching healthy vocal technique, Jessica believes that it is important to find the character in every song. She finds that the joy of singing comes from storytelling and self-expression, and that a solid technical foundation allows us to be confident while performing.

Jessica also loves to write her own songs. She takes inspiration from her favorite pop artists, Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo, and she believes that songwriting is the perfect way to express an emotion that no existing song is able to capture.

Jessica Brozek performs “I’m Not Afraid of Anything,” (May 2021).
