About Jack Harless

Jack Harless is an up-and-coming educator and vocalist based in Boulder, Colorado. Jack discovered his passion for singing and performing when he was young, and is currently completing his BM (May 2022) in Vocal Performance at the University of Colorado, Boulder. A classically trained vocalist and instrumentalist, Jack is passionate about music pedagogy and loves working with students of all ages! He also has experience teaching beginning piano, as well as his first instrument, the violin, which he began studying at age 4.

During his time at CU, Jack has worked extensively with vocal pedagogue Dr. John Seesholtz. Studying under Dr. Seesholtz has exposed him to the wonders that vocal health and pedagogy can do for a singer’s voice, as well as their overall quality of life as a singer. Having the proper training and following simple vocal health suggestions, including homeopathic remedies and balanced pH levels, has prepared him for the hardships of the performance world on the voice. Jack believes that vocal health is of utmost importance and will set a student up for success.

Jack is an outgoing and passionate teacher specializing in Choral Music, Musical Theatre, and Opera. He enjoys working with students of all ages, and his primary goal for students is to develop the young musician’s skills while having as much fun as possible! He believes that music education is essential to keeping all forms of education alive. Harless plans to continue his own education in order to bring this passion for music into the lives of as many people as possible, including those who have not traditionally had access to music education.
