About Nick Peloso
Nick is a multi-instrumentalist with a focus on the double bass. After starting out on violin, Nick developed an interest in the drums and electric bass. Eventually he chose the double bass as his main instrument and earned his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Bass at Ithaca College. Since graduating, Nick has performed in swing trios, big bands, and rock bands and composes and arranges his own music for several groups in upstate New York. During this time he taught strings as a regular substitute in schools and as a private instructor. Nick is now using his study of technique and sound production on string instruments to inspire his students to be the best players they can be
