About Gleeson Edwards
Gleeson Edwards is from Connecticut with a passion for vocal performance and music education. She earned her BA in Music from Southern Connecticut State University, where she received an award for excellence in music performance upon graduating. During her time at SCSU, Gleeson performed with the Blues Band, Latin Jazz ensemble, and Jazz Standards groups, developing a diverse musical repertoire.
Following graduation, Gleeson gained valuable teaching experience as a vocal and keyboard instructor at School of Rock, while continuing to pursue her own musical endeavors. She has performed as the vocalist for rock cover band X2Z and recently released her debut solo EP, Chrysalis, for which she wrote and recorded all the songs. The project is available on all streaming platforms.
Gleeson is enthusiastic about teaching and loves sharing her passion for music and singing with students of all ages.
