How Do Our Dancers Feel About CID?
GET STARTEDTestimonials from long-term dancers and alumni.
“CID has changed my life in so many ways. Beginning here at seven years old, CID has made me the person I am today. Dancing at CID has taught me the value of hard work, dedication, and provided a community for me to thrive in. CID is more than just dance, however. CID has taught me leadership skills I have used to now be a teacher at the studio: responsibility, time management, and integrity are just a few things that I have gained from this. CID is not your normal dance studio. I’m not the only one who can say that once you walk in the doors of CID not only will you be a better dancer, but a better human. CID is my second home and I would not trade it for the world.” – Cam W.
Cam has always had a passion for dance since he was 2 years old. He plans to continue performing for years to come. At 16, he is already a dance teacher at CID and plans to eventually make it to Broadway.
“Classic Image has been such a big part of my life and the staff, mentors, and friends I’ve met throughout my time there have really shaped me into the best version of myself. Classic image has granted me so many leadership and dance opportunities. I’ve been able to accomplish so many things and create some of the best memories. The experiences I’ve gone through with Classic Image I wouldn’t trade for the world and the support I still receive is something I’m so grateful for. The connections, friends, and family I’ve built will truly last a lifetime. Classic Image really is its own little community and I’m so thankful to have been a part of it.” – Abby W.
Abby joined our CID family at the age of 13 and continued to dance with us until her graduation in 2022. She spent 3 years teaching at Classic Image Dance, and is now a student at the University of Arizona studying elementary education.
“Classic Image has had a huge impact on my life and has been my second home ever since I was about seven years old. I have been mentored and get to work with great people on a daily basis. I’ve gained leadership qualities and experience I know will get me very far in life. I am so grateful for CID and I know it’s a place I can always call home.” – Sarah F.
Sarah has been a part of our CID family for 11 years. She is a dancer, has taught classes and camps over the last 2 seasons, and currently serves CID families as a front desk hostess and substitute dance teacher. She’s the senior captain of Hamilton High School’s varsity pom line and will graduate this coming May with plans to attend college and study business or sports management. Sarah hopes to continue performing throughout college.
“CID has had an incredible impact on my life. Throughout the years I’ve had so many amazing teachers who have not only helped me grow as a dancer, but also as a person. I’ve learned so many valuable life lessons in leadership and responsibility. I’ve also met so many wonderful people at CID and have built amazing friendships.” – Annaliese K.
Annaliese came to CID as a dancer in 2017, and began working as one of our beloved hostesses more recently, during Season 32. She is a proud member of CID’s Collective and supports her team passionately. Annaliese is a senior at Xavier College Prep, and after graduating plans to attend Arizona State University followed by law school in Boston, with the ultimate goal of becoming a corporate lawyer.
