Join Mr. Brett in this 2-week course, where students will strengthen their musicality by exploring creativity through songwriting and composition. Whether your student is a beginner or experienced musician, they will develop their ability to craft original music by experimenting with melody, harmony, rhythm, and lyrics. Through collaborative exercises and guided instruction, they will learn the fundamentals of songwriting while finding their unique artistic voices.
All students are encouraged to bring their instruments and contribute to the creative process right from their seats. Working on music outside of class is crucial to get the most out of this course, so be prepared to set aside time for songwriting!
