While private lessons focus on the singular student, our Flute Ensemble group class focuses on group dynamics. Students with flute experience will learn what it takes to work with a group of musicians to perform a cohesive piece.
Our Flute Ensemble group class is designed for flute players who want to build comradery with their peers and play beautiful pieces together. The repertoire for this class will consist of hand-picked pieces from Ms. Allison that are skill-appropriate for the whole group. We will also be planning a performance at our Spring Recital!
Class Objectives:
– Understand the dynamics of being in an ensemble
– Gain the experience of playing with fellow musicians
– Learn new flute pieces selected by the class and Ms. Allison
– Perform as a group at our Spring Recital
