About Louise Floyd
Louise is a passionate teacher with a decade of teaching experience in piano and voice. As a classically trained pianist and vocalist, Louise uses classical training methods to help musicians of all ages develop good technique no matter the genre. Louise received her Master’s Degree from the University of California: Los Angeles, and is currently working as a freelance opera singer in the Chicago area. Upcoming performances include covering the lead role in Lili Elbe by Tobias Picker with Santa Fe Opera, and Kurt Weil’s Der Silbersee with Chicago Opera Theater.
