About Adam Nigh
Adam is a current multi-instrumentalist in the Chicago area who performs and teaches a wide variety of styles including jazz, classical, r&b, and pop. He is an active freelance musician and can be found performing in several theaters and venues throughout Chicagoland, as well as teaching flute, saxophone, clarinet, oboe, and piano.
Adam grew up in Geneva, Illinois and began playing the piano at the age of 7 and saxophone at the age of 10 under the tutelage of David Kellen and Michael Bazan. Adam received his Bachelors of Music from University of Illinois and his Masters of Music from DePaul University. He credits his high school band teacher, Patrick Frederick, for instilling a love for teaching young musicians and providing students with the tools to succeed at anything they put their mind to.
