About Nate Yeasley
Nate was born and raised in Southern California. From a musical family, his mother a choir teacher and his father a guitarist, his musical adventures began on piano at a young age. From there he gravitated toward an old set of drums his dad had stored in the garage and the rest is history. Playing everything from jazz to classical, Nate’s skills as a drummer and percussionist have grown exponentially from year to year.
He has had the privilege to share the stage with jazz greats such as Carl Saunders, Sammy Nestico, and Terry Gibbs, among others. He has also been afforded the privilege to share the stage with Stryper guitarist Oz Fox. After graduating with his Master’s degree in Music Performance from University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Nate continued to gain experience by making contacts, going to jams, and auditioning for every drumming position available. This effort subsequently led to him finding steady performance work with a variety of groups, ranging from classical and jazz and everything in between.
Nate continues to enjoy success playing drums at his church weekly, teaching music lessons during the week, playing and writing original rock with signed band Second Echo, and his vocal vintage trio the Swing It! Girls, as well as working one-time gigs with various artists all over Las Vegas and the western region. Nate hopes to continue to advance his career by continuing to learn, and by broadening his experience and reach as widely as possible.
