About Debbie Green
Graduating in 1973 with a B.S. (Education), Debbie taught music for four years in the Council Bluffs (Iowa) Public Schools. She was the chairman of the Council Bluffs Central Area Music Festival and organized and presented numerous musical programs throughout the area.
Debbie left teaching in 1979 to serve her country for ten years in the US Air Force. She was an administrative officer, attaining the rank of Captain. While on active duty, Debbie completed her Masters Degree in Human Behavior in 1989.
After leaving active duty in the military, she returned to teaching music with the Clark Country School District (Las Vegas) where she taught grades K-5. In addition to regular music classes, Debbie created performing choirs and presented annual shows for students, parents, and staff. She retired from the school district in 2010.
Debbie has taught piano and voice continuously at the Brill Music Academy since 2001. She is an accomplished musician and teacher whose experience and passion makes her the perfect choice for beginning students and those with learning disabilities.
