About David Fletcher
Born in Boston, MA, David Fletcher began his musical studies at the age of 6 years old. Following a move abroad in 2021, he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Music at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels under the direction of Brazilian jazz guitarist, Nelson Veras. David also attended several editions of the Siena Jazz Workshop where he studied under artists such as Lage Lund, Gilad Hekselman, Mike Moreno and Nir Felder. While in Brussels, David participated in the local music scene, performing in a variety of formations in the city’s music venues. In 2024, he founded his own band, Phrygia Quartet, which blends flamenco and world music with jazz influences.
