About Abram Lembono
Abram Lembono works as a professional musician, pianist, music educator, music producer, and composer. Abram graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Music Production & Engineering program at Berklee College of Music and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Contemporary Music Performance from Universitas Pelita Harapan. He was the recipient of numerous scholarships and composition awards as a pianist and composer.
As a pianist, Abram has played in many music and jazz festivals such as Java Jazz, Philippines Jazz, Publika Jazz, No Black Tie, etc. He also won competitions such as Black Jazz Competition, Jazz Goes To Campus, Expose Jazz, National Band Competition and became a Regional Best Keyboardist in 2011.
In addition to his performance career, Abram also has a great passion for teaching music and loves working with students of all ages and levels. He has experience teaching high school students at Berklee City Music Program, college students at Conservatory of Music at Universitas Pelita Harapan, and students of all ages at Aminoto Kosin Music School.
Through these diverse musical & teaching experiences, Abram has developed his own unique method for teaching piano. Abram provides a comprehensive foundation, while making sure his students enjoy every minute playing and learning the instrument. When Abram teaches, he is always having fun! He wants to make sure students feel that same passion. Abram guides his students towards music they enjoy, and helps them not only get excited about music, but learn how to express themselves through their instrument.
